What is a HydraFacial MD®?

The HydraFacial MD^® is an affordable and popular treatment that can treat a variety of common skincare problems, such as dryness and aging with a few to minor side effects. It is a medical grade facial treatment that clears out the pores and hydrates the skin. During a HydraFacial MD^®, the dead skin cells are removed via suction and, at the same time, the skin is infused with hydrating and moisturizing serums, which possess both anti-aging and antioxidant properties.

Utilizing a four-step process—which includes cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration—the HydraFacial MD^® uses a HydraPeel Tip, a pen-like device. During the procedure, the skin is cleansed by removing excess dead skin cells and sebum; following the removal, a mixture of salicylic and glycolic acids are applied which break up the dirt and oil that clog pores; lastly, the HydraPeel Tip is used to vacuum out blackheads, dirt, oil, and other impurities, while a variety of serums are infused into the skin.

The suction does all of the work in the procedure, and there is no pressure involved. Rather, the skin is cleansed of impurities and infused with beneficial serums which improve its appearance and overall function.

What kind of results can I expect?

There are multiple benefits to getting a HydraFacial MD^®. One of the main ones is that it promotes a more hydrated and brighter, clear complexion which is clear of blemishes and acne; they can also help with the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles while improving the tone and texture of skin, while also reducing pore size.
